After beginning his military career in the special forces, then start
from 1967 in France and International, Alain Juillet was a leader of numerous French and foreign companies such as Pernod Ricard, Jacobs Suchard, the ULN, France Champignon or Générale Ultra Frais as President before assuming the closure of Marks and Spencer. In this context he became a specialist in international development, crisis management and recovery of companies in difficulty.

Appointed at the end 2002 as Director of Information at DGSE, he later became Senior official responsible for economic intelligence to the Prime Minister. He ensures the implementation level of the administration, promotion to companies, develops its education in schools and universities, and contributes to the development of the concept and its adaptation to French characteristics.

In 2009, he joined the Office of Orrick Rambaud Martel as Senior Advisor. He was appointed in the same year as President of Economic Intelligence Academy (Académie d’intelligence économique) and in 2011 as president of the Club for security directors of companies, he was also an administrator of the National College of private security activities and member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Advanced Studies in Science and Technology (Institut des Hautes Etudes de Sciences et Technologies).

He was in the same time as professor in strategy and crisis management at CPA / 
HEC Group, and Lecturer at Sciences Po research and information processing, and speaker at the ENA and the National School of Magistrates (Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature) on the economic and strategic intelligence.
